A mentor is an experienced and knowledgeable individual in a specific field or area, who is willing to share and provides guidance, advice, and support to someone less experienced, typically referred to as a mentee.

A mentee is an individual who seeks guidance and mentorship in their career or personal development from someone more experienced to enhance their skills, make informed decisions, and achieve their goals.

Mentoring is like having a GPS for your personal and professional journey. It helps you navigate the complex terrain of your career and personal growth, uncovering abilities and strengths you might not even realize you possess.  

There is no monetary charge or payment required to join the mentoring program.

The mentee can be a Student, a Youth Corps Member, an Aspiring Professional, or an Online Entrepreneur. Additionally, the mentee must demonstrate willingness and commitment to the mentoring process. They should be self-driven, highly motivated, and possess the capacity to instigate change in their personal capacity. It is essential for them to have excellent writing and communication skill.

A mentor must have prior experience as a mentor, with no less than 10 years of professional experience and immersion in mentoring programs. The mentor must possess leadership skills and capabilities in a defined field or area of expertise. Additionally, the mentor should demonstrate experience in social entrepreneurship, advocacy, and community mobilization. All these qualities, underlined for emphasis, are meant to ensure that mentors bring a diverse range of experiences that cut across various sectors and industries
