The mentor/mentee relationship will be built on common interests, harmonization of individual goals and on shared and collective outcomes. The program will target women who are in their early, mid, or late career levels, women seeking to make a major career shift; women who are involved in development and social advocacy, community empowerment and leadership programs. Any woman in this category who displays an interest in the mentors’ program and fulfills the mentoring criteria will be considered and benefit from this mentoring program irrespective of status, pedigree or background thus reinforcing the FBA Mentors Program core values of:
The mentoring program provides a medium for women across all strata of life and job discipline who will be registered as mentees, develop a complementary and synergistic connection with their assigned mentors in a way that that will foster the mentees growth, inspire personal evolvement and enfranchisement of all who will be enrolled under the Funmi Babington-Ashaye Mentors Program
Participants will be drawn from a selection process that is based on referrals, nominations, or via personal application by interested participants.
