The Funmi Babington-Ashaye Foundation Mentorship Programme has successfully welcomed a new cohort of mentees into its 5th annual cycle, following the induction ceremony held on Saturday, 28th March.

The programme, which continues to grow in impact and reach, brings together mentors and mentees in a structured 9–12 month journey focused on holistic development, spanning career growth, spiritual advancement, and personal life.

Each mentee is thoughtfully paired with a seasoned professional mentor, aligned with their career aspirations and life goals. Throughout the programme, mentees benefit from consistent guidance, access to the Foundation’s founder, Dr. Funmi Babington-Ashaye, curated training materials, and both virtual and in-person mentoring sessions.

A major highlight of the induction was the impactful session delivered by the guest speaker, Mrs. Mavi Isibor, Founder of Poise Nigeria, who spoke on the theme “Accelerate and Amplify.” Her session was met with great enthusiasm and resonance from the inductees and all , sparking meaningful reflections and a renewed drive to pursue growth with intention.

This was followed by an engaging Q&A session, where mentees and attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarity, and gain deeper insights. The interaction further enriched the experience, making the session both practical and inspiring.

The induction event also provided an opportunity for the Cohort 5 mentees to meet and engage with their mentors and other members of the mentoring community. A key highlight of the ceremony was the oath of honour, where mentees pledged their commitment to uphold the values, principles, and responsibilities of the programme.
